Albert Ingalles started working in a ice cream shop in the Midwest that his parents' owned. That is were his love for ice cream began. While attending Washington State University he met his wife and settled down on Whidbey Island. He then wanted to start a ice cream shop just like his parents had. He remembered all the great memories from his childhood and wanted his children to have the same memories as him.

Whidbey Island Ice Cream is made with the freshest ingrediants, including milk and cream from local dairy farms. We use the richest of cocoa and dark chocolate, sweet fruits and caramel, with mouth-watering candies and nuts. Our secret recipe makes our ice cream creamy and smooth.

Since our early days Whidbey Island Ice Cream has been synonymous with premium ice cream, fabulous ice cream treats and great customer service.
