Albert’s story is one of persistence and hard work. Albert started working in a ice cream shop in the Midwest that his parents' owned. That is were his love for ice cream began. While attending Washington State University he met his wife and settled down on Whidbey Island. He then wanted to start a ice cream shop just like his parents had. He remembered all the great memories from his childhood and wanted his children to have the same memories as him.

In1990 Albert and his wife Mary started Whidbey Island Ice Cream. They used the best recipes with the best ingrediants.
